Our partnership includes agencies from the local community, education and sports that are committed to working together through sport and active recreation to improve the quality of life for the people of Derbyshire.

Derbyshire Sport logo

We cover the traditional county of Derbyshire including the city of Derby and the Derbyshire part of the Peak District National Park.

We see Derbyshire Sport as the bridge between local action and regional or national policy and networks.

It's a two way informing and influencing role and part of the regional and national network of County Sports Partnerships.

Ultimately our goal is attracting resources into Derbyshire and into sport and using them towards realising our vision of "making sport a part of everyone's life".
