A suitably experienced and dynamic individual is sought to assist in the effective management of the District Council’s property portfolio in line with its own approved Asset Management Plan.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in all aspects of property management and repairs and must be able to demonstrate good technical, building and property services knowledge sufficient to enable the supervision of work and the management of schedule of rates contracts. The ability to negotiate, organise and manage external contracts is also required.
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to prepare specifications and sketch plans for minor works as well as provide technical advice and support on property related matters.
You should be qualified to HNC or HND Level, preferably in a property related discipline, with relevant experience. This is a demanding role and candidates must have the ability to organise and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The ability to work effectively to deadlines is also essential.
