Family Support Worker, Team 1 - Stronger Communities
Permanent, part time (18.5 hrs per week), Scale 6, Salary £22,221 - £23,708 pro rata
The successful applicant will work with disabled children and young people through the delivery of the Aiming High programme. You will help to contribute to the delivery of Early Intervention and Intensive Family Support to support the safeguarding agenda.
You will provide coordination and information to families about the range of activities available for short breaks within the local area. You will develop the role of activity providers, schools and settings as community-based service providers to meet the needs of children, young people and communities, in order to raise achievement and promote social inclusion. You will also help to promote the Family Information Service in Rutland and contribute to its development and maintenance.
