An opportunity has arisen at Derbyshire Dales District Council for a Parks & Streetscene Officer to assist the Grounds Maintenance and Car Parks Manager in his role.  

This is an important role that will contribute to the good management of the Council’s street cleansing, public conveniences, land at the Agricultural Business Centre, markets, car parking, parks and cemeteries. 

Main duties will involve dealing with customer enquiries in relation to street cleansing, parks, cemeteries and open spaces, coordinating the maintenance of land at the Agricultural Business Centre and dealing with car parking appeals.  

You will work as part of a small team but must also be able to work on your own initiative.  It is essential that you are reliable, flexible and have a full UK driving licence.
