Team Assistant, Team 10 - Fostering, Adoption & Family Support
Permanent, full time (37 hours per week), Scale 3, Salary £15,725 - £16,830
New opportunities have arisen in Team 10 (Fostering, Adoption and Family Support Team). You will be a key person in the team and provide general clerical support to the team including correspondence and diary management dealing with queries and messages in an effective manner.
You will need to be responsible for commitment accounting in the budget and to process invoices/ handle petty cash as required and you will assist with the collation and monitoring of information and data as needed within the team and feel confident in using spreadsheets.
You will be educated to RSA Stage II Typing and Word Processing or equivalent with good standard of literacy and numeracy and have a range of administrative skills including use of a number of IT packages.
You will need to be able to work under pressure with good communication skills.
Part of the core responsibilities in this post will be to co-ordinate the fostering panel, assist with advertising and raising the profile of the fostering and adoption service. You will be joining a small, fun, supportive team and it is essential that you are a team player.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to a check by the Criminal Records Bureau.
