Tutors – Adult & Family Learning, Team 5 - Lifelong Learning
Casual hours
Scale 1 – 4, £11.48 - £12.92 per hour (flat rate, an enhanced rate of 1.9xhourly rate is paid for every hour teaching)
Rutland Adult Learning Service is seeking to appoint experienced and enthusiastic tutors to its team of casual teaching staff in order to develop opportunities for Lifelong Learning in Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings.
To apply for this role you must have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience of teaching in an FE of Community Learning environment and hold the award for Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS), and be suitably qualified/experienced in your area of expertise. For some subject areas, higher levels of qualification will be required. We are particularly keen to hear from tutors in:
- English (literacy) and Maths (numeracy) from entry level to GCSE
- ESOL
- ICT
- Family Learning (Wider Family Learning and Family Language, Literacy and Numeracy)
- Computerised and Manual Accounts
- Business and Management
- Arts and Crafts: Jewellery, metalwork, wood work, photography
- Independent Living and Personal Progression specialists
We would also welcome applications from potential tutors with interest in delivering the classroom element of Apprenticeship frameworks including Business Administration, Customer Service, Management / Team Leader, Hospitality, Retail, Warehousing and Information Technology.
