Casual Work Based Learning Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers
Casual hours,Scale FENJC 1 - 4, Salary £11.48 - £12.92 per hour
Due to the expansion of our Apprenticeship provision, we are seeking a number of casual assessors to join the team and contribute to the development of existing and new areas of provision. Duties of the role will include:
- To ensure that learners receive high quality skills development support towards achievement of qualifications in the workplace
- To take ownership of the successful completion of learners’ portfolios and to meet agreed performance targets
- To seek out opportunities to improve the support that the organisation offers employers and identify opportunities for the further development and expansion of the offer.
To apply for this role you must be a work-based learning Assessor with D32/33 or A1 qualifications, at least 3 years’ experience at supervisory or managerial level and a relevant level 3 qualification, and be able to assess candidates in:
- Warehousing (Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer*)
- Management / Team Leader (Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer*)
- Hospitality (Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer*)
- Retail
- Health and Social Care
- Support Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
- Customer Service
*Internal Quality Assurer’s duties include managing QA of learners’ portfolios and maintaining centre systems relating to QA, including learner sampling matrix. Qualifications required for this role are a track record in the sector at management level (min 3 years experience) and to hold D34 or V1.
