We are currently working on behalf of a company based in Chesterfield who require a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The role will see you working within a small team where the successful applicant will be solely responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices.
Purchase Ledger function - input of invoices, through to payments, statement reconciliations and query handling. It is a high volume environment hence you will be able to cope well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
As it is a small accounts department they require someone who is happy to help out elsewhere as and when required.
Please apply for further details providing that you have had some exposure to the Purchase Ledger function. A handover period will be given and full training will be provided on the in-house computer package. You will however be happy using Word and Excel on a daily basis.
The start date will be agreed as soon as the successful candidate is chosen. The salary on offer reflects the annual amount available. Please note that this role could be extended and the client will be looking for commitment for the full initial 6 month period.
